The Braces are OFF!

Broden got his braces off yesterday! He was excited and now he has to wear a retainer for one year, but only at night so that is not to bad. I am glad it is only at night and not all day. I can just see it being thrown away at school.

They gave Broden a gift bag of stuff he was NOT suppose to eat while he had his braces.

I was waiting for him to tell them that, "My mom still let me eat popcorn and gum while I had my braces on." But he didn't I was so proud he didn't rat me out!

4th of July Fun!!!

We started our day off by going to the Parade.

Broden had a great time catching candy from the floats.

We had a BBQ with some friends then got on the golf cart to go see the fireworks!

After the Fireworks we all came back to our house and we did some of our own!

It was our first "official" 4th of July here since Broden and Kasey were in Utah last year. We had a good time but still missed our family & friends in Utah!

Today Broden and some of his friends decorated bags to take to the parade on Friday to put all of the candy they catch. They had a great time doing it. They turned out so cute!

The Train!!

So this morning we went to go and take some pictures of Broden on the train tracks for his Baptism invitation. The tracks are behind Walmart by our house. We started taking some pictures when we saw the train coming so we hurried off the tracks as the train came to a STOP right by us. I was worried that we were going to get in trouble. Two guys got out and came up to us and asked if Broden wanted to go up and get in the train. So Broden got to go inside and see how the train works. He got to blow the whistle, which he thought was so cool! The guys were so nice, they said that they sometimes stop at Walmart and grab something to eat. So I am hoping that we got some good pictures.

Blue Belt!

Broden got his Blue belt on Monday! He got great scores 90 for his form, 90 for his self defense, and 80 on his sparring. Good Job Bud!!
